Booking A Session

ONE) Contact me direct at 908-334-3171 or 888-842-1112 Toll Free, or email me at bluechakra@verizon.net to discuss your project and set a shoot date.
TWO) Pre-payment is required for all first time clients, payable through Paypal, or by mail-in check/money order to: Bluechakra/Starkittys - PO Box 336, South Plainfield, NJ 07080-0336. Payment in full for all clients is required upon ending of your photo session day. For those who are budget conscious and need a big break, CLICK HERE!
THREE) Pre-payment is required for all first time clients, payable through Paypal, or by mail-in check/money order to: Bluechakra/Starkittys - PO Box 336, South Plainfield, NJ 07080-0336. Payment in full for all clients is required upon ending of your photo session day. Then go ahead and tell your pets or people that I am coming. Be prepared to laugh and play on your designated date and time!
Prior to session: An invoice describing your session date, time and fees will be emailed to you. A confirmation phone call the day before may be made, if session was booked more than one week in advance. Invoice will include the below details:
Starndard Session Date/Time: These range per the type of photograpy session you have chosen. Please tap images below to gain further idea of how each session type works.
Standard Session Fee: There are three main categories. Standard Session Pricing, Dispatch Photo Pricing and Budget Pricing. Click here to compare rates. Commute fees will be included, based on estimated commute time per milage incurred.
Additional Fees May Include:
Commute Fees - Generally commute fees are added into the Package, however, on occasion a situation arises where the long distance to a shoot overshadows what I think I can to in the shoot time alotted for a particular package. In that case, it is discussed prior and you may be required to furnish commute fees on the day of the actual shoot.
Extra commute time - ADD $50.00 per hour
Photo Lab Fees
Graphic Sizing, Retouching or Special Lab Fees: If you are looking to size your images, clear dust and debris from your pets fur from his roll in the dirt, or looking for image enhancement for purposes of high quality printing, Photoshop lab fees are avaialble.
Lab fees are $50.00 Per hour.
What You Get From Your Session:
There is no set count on how many images you will receive. Eash session is different and our goal is to gain several different types of GREAT~SHOTS from the session. Your session images are mailed to you on CD. They are in the pixel format in which they were taken. This enables you to do anything you want with your images. You can also receive email thumbnail images of your session. Should you need assistance sizing images or gaining information regarding how to print from your CD, please contact me direct.
5 GREAT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT HOW I WORK!
1. Fun is number 1! In a relaxed and joyous environment, pets relax, babies begin to laugh and people become less stiff and nervous about how they are going to look 'in print'. Laughter brings about many magically captured moments. Time is not an issue when it comes to getting the best shots possible for my clients. Since I absolutely love what I do, (getting that GREAT SHOT), my naturally relaxed essence permeates the environment. You'll get it moment you meet me. And having 10 years experience as both a model and photo shoot stylist, I get the whole picture...including helping scaredy cat people who think they NEVER photograph well to 'get' that it's ALL in the lighting and styling!
2. We don't count the photos taken! Nothing KILLS a great photo opportunity other than a client with a tight budget who has to dicker with a 'professional photographer' over how many shots he can get out of his session. I tend to shoot ALOT and my clients get a big bang for their buck because my interest is ALWAYS in getting that GREAT SHOT, no matter what it takes. This is artistry to me and your final product is as important to me as it is to you!
3. You get all your shots on CD for you to use in any way you desire! I have no interest in owning your photos or corraling clients to have to use my 'other' photographic services. I can and will (for a modest price), help optimize images for your website and do photoshop color correction / cleanup work for high quality final prints, but that can be discussed at a later time and 'rehashing' clients is not a focus of mine. I may on occasion ask that I be given permission to utilize a few images from your shoot for the 'further promotion and advertising' of my photography skills.
4. I never book more than 2 photo shoots in one day, and quite often, I book only one - thus guaranteeing enough time to get what I need to get. I don't want to be tired and stressed in MY career and I imagine neither does any client of mine. So I work at quality over quantity.
5. Negotiable prices for budget conscious clients! Though my personal prices set forth in my website are the common denominator for most shoots I do, occasionally I work with Photography Networks and via these additional means of gaining more clients, I drastically cut my rates to be included in their networks. Yes, pay me what I ask cuz I'm worth it but if you are seriously challenged financially, email me at the above listed email address. If I can't do the shoot myself, I'll refer you to someone in your price range. Then everyone is happy!
